Here is Sepultura’s video for Convicted in Life. It comes complete with slaughtered pigs and severed limbs. Not for the squeamish.
About Dante XXI
Convicted in Life is from Dante XXI, released in 2006. The whole album is based on Dante’s Divine Comedy. It moves from hell, through purgatory, to paradise.
Derrick Green sang, and Andreas Kisser played guitar. Paulo Jr. was on bass. It was the last Sepultura album with Igor Cavalera on drums. He left the band later that year.
The song is short, angry, and groovy. It sounds like the Sepultura of Chaos A.D. with a modern edge. Fans who wrote off the post Max Cavalera era should give it a try.
