Back in 2010 we put a Deicide t-shirt up for auction. That auction is over, but Deicide shirts never go out of style.
About Deicide
Deicide formed in Tampa, Florida in the late 80s. Glen Benton sang and played bass. The Hoffman brothers, Eric and Brian, played guitar. Steve Asheim played drums.
Their self-titled debut came out in 1990 on Roadrunner. Legion followed in 1992. Both are short, fast, and furious. Many fans call Legion one of the best death metal albums ever made.
Deicide was always about shock. Benton’s inverted cross brand on his forehead got the band banned and protested all over. The music backed it up though. Tight, fast, and heavy.
