About the mic stand
Alchemy Gothic is an English brand famous for pewter jewelry and gothic gifts. In 2010 they built a custom microphone stand for Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody. Skulls, spikes, and dark metal detailing. It looks like something out of a horror movie.
Custom mic stands are a big part of a singer’s stage look. Think of Steven Tyler’s scarves or Rob Halford on his motorcycle. Moody’s stand fit right in with the band’s tough, aggressive image.
About Five Finger Death Punch
Five Finger Death Punch formed in Los Angeles in 2005. War Is the Answer came out in 2009 and made them one of the biggest new metal bands in the US. Bad Company, Hard to See, and Far From Home all became radio hits.
