Brütal Legend is one badass game. It stars Jack Black, Lemmy, Rob Halford and other metal legends. It has a ton of great metal and plenty of beheadings.
What is Brütal Legend?
Brütal Legend came out in 2009 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Double Fine made it, led by Tim Schafer. Jack Black plays Eddie Riggs, a roadie who gets pulled into a world built from heavy metal album covers.
You fight with an axe and a guitar. You drive a hot rod. And you raise armies of headbangers. The whole world looks like a 70s van painting.
The music
The soundtrack has over 100 songs. Motörhead, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Slayer, Testament, and many more. Lemmy plays the Kill Master, and Rob Halford voices two characters. Ozzy shows up as the Guardian of Metal.
