About Children of Bodom
Children of Bodom came from Espoo, Finland. They mixed melodic death metal with flashy power metal guitar and keyboard duels. Alexi Laiho led the band on guitar and vocals until it ended in 2019. Laiho passed away in December 2020.
Hatebreeder from 1999 and Hate Crew Deathroll from 2003 are the fan favorites. Chaos Ridden Years was their live DVD. If you are new to the band, start with Hatebreeder.
