Betty White is really into death metal. Betty White’s thank you song takes a brutal turn.
Betty White, metal fan?
In May 2010, Betty White hosted Saturday Night Live on Mother’s Day weekend. She was 88. A huge Facebook campaign got her the gig, and the episode was one of the best rated of the season.
The clip above takes the sweet Golden Girls theme, Thank You for Being a Friend, and gives it a brutal death metal makeover. Blast beats and growls where the soft vocals used to be.
Betty White was a TV legend for more than 70 years. She passed away on December 31, 2021, just weeks before her 100th birthday. Metal fans loved her too.
