Back in 2011 we wrote about a new band from Sweden called Ghost. They play satanic songs, and their singer looks like an evil pope. So the only thing you need to do is buy the shirt.
Who is Ghost?
Ghost released Opus Eponymous in 2010. Back then nobody knew who was in the band. The singer called himself Papa Emeritus and wore skull face paint and a pope’s robes. The rest of the band were the Nameless Ghouls, in matching masks.
The music is not black metal at all. It is catchy 70s style heavy rock, like Blue Öyster Cult with devil lyrics. That mix made them one of the biggest rock bands of the next decade.
Songs to start with: Ritual, Elizabeth, and Death Knell.
Ghost t-shirts
We carry several Ghost shirts. Check out the Ghost official Red Death t-shirt, the Ghost Hi-Red Possession t-shirt, and the Ghost Opus Eponymous holiday t-shirt.
