This was an awesome show. I had a blast, and Slayer killed it. Here are the clips I shot at Nassau Coliseum on October 8, 2010.
Megadeth: Vic Rattlehead and Dawn Patrol
Megadeth: Symphony of Destruction
Slayer: Dead Skin Mask
About the tour
This was the American Carnage tour. Both bands played a classic album from start to finish for its 20th anniversary. Megadeth played Rust in Peace. Slayer played Seasons in the Abyss. That is why you see Dawn Patrol and Dead Skin Mask here. Those songs almost never got played live before this.
Dave Ellefson was back on bass in Megadeth that year. Slayer still had the classic lineup with Jeff Hanneman and Dave Lombardo. Looking back, it was one of the last chances to see that Slayer lineup on a big US tour.
